Our Mission:
The Leggett Foundation provides free and direct scholarships for the advanced education of post-high school students in need but of great promise, to develop their civic potential, as well as material assistance to disadvantaged children, K - 12, and under-funded school programs to help fulfill public education.
We regard our community as White County, Independence County, and Woodruff County, Arkansas, whose students we focus on. Exceptional candidates from outside the region we may also consider. We are open to the public without discrimination and wholly with the aim of bridging the gaps that separate us. Our scholarships are merit based.
